I got the clay bug early. Holly introduced me to my first ceramics class at Springfield College, and she was right — I was completely hooked. I couldn’t put the clay down or stop imagining all the forms it could take.

After graduating with an art minor, I continued studying ceramics at SUNY New Paltz and the University of Colorado Boulder, building my skills across both functional and sculptural work. Clay stayed at the center of everything, even as my path moved through different places and experiences.

Today, I teach ceramics at Springfield College, and that commitment to education, experimentation, and material exploration is at the heart of everything I do. I’m deeply interested in helping people experience the full range of ceramics — from craft to fine art, from useful objects to expressive, conceptual forms.

Studio 467 grew directly out of that philosophy. It’s a fully functioning ceramics studio offering classes, artist studio rentals, and a vibrant gallery and community space. The studio is designed to support curiosity, skill-building, and creative risk-taking at every level.

I created Studio 467 as a place where people can discover the joy of working with clay, expand how they think about what ceramics can be, find a one-of-a-kind handmade piece, or simply walk in and see creativity happening in real time. While having a full Gallery to purchase works of art.

Whether you’re brand new to clay or deeply invested in the material, Studio 467 is a place to learn, make, and grow.
